UNILAG: Process for Paying Fees in Installments 2023

The University of Lagos has published an approved Process for Paying Fees in Installments for both new and returning undergraduates, the procedures are stated below:

Following the review of the adjusted obligatory fees of the University on Thursday, September 14, 2023; kindly find below the updated breakdown and procedure for payment in instalment option:

  1. Generate payment advice from the student portal. Please note that the payment advice used for the first payment will also be used for subsequent payments.
  2. Proceed to pay 50% Obligatory fees with 100% utility fees. This means that:

A.   For new undergraduates who opt for payment in instalments, the minimum payment is Utility (100%) + Toxicology (100%) + obligatory (50%).  Thus, the breakdown for all new undergraduates is as follows:

How to Apply for the EMBA Weekend Stream at UNILAG 2023

The University of Lagos Business School (ULBS) offers an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program that is designed for working professionals who want to advance their careers. The EMBA Weekend stream is a part-time program that is offered on weekends, making it possible for students to continue working while they study.

How to Apply for the EMBA Weekend Stream at UNILAG Programme Requirements

Any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the EMBA programme:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an approved University.
  2. HND with a minimum of Upper credit (or lower credit with PGD OR with 15 years of experience) from an approved Institution.
  3. Professional qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA,
  4. CIMA, CIIN, ACIPM, AMNIM and ACIB with PGD.
  5. In addition to any of the (items i-iii) above, candidates must have 5 credit passes O’level (including English and Mathematics) and at least, 7 years post qualification work experience OR 3 years Managerial/ Administrative experience.
  6. Acceptable performance at the selection interview conducted by ULBS.

To apply, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Visit the ULBS website and create an account. Click https://ulbsapplications.unilag.edu.ng/register/individual
  2. Click on the “Apply Now” button for the EMBA Weekend Stream program.
  3. Complete the online application form and submit it.
  4. Pay the application fee.
  5. Submit your supporting documents, including:
    • Transcripts from all previous educational institutions.
    • Resume.
    • Letter of recommendation from a current or former supervisor.
    • Statement of purpose.

Once you have submitted your application, you will be notified of the status of your application within a few weeks. If your application is accepted, you will be invited to participate in a selection interview.

UNILAG Post-UTME Screening Exercise to Commence from October 11th

The much-awaited University of Lagos UNILAG Post-UTME Screening Exercise to Commence from October 11th to 29th, 2021 according to the institute portal.

The University of Lagos online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2021/2022 Academic Year will commence from Monday, 11th to Friday, 29th October, 2021.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2021/2022 UTME, and scored 200 and above, are eligible for screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O-Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October, 2021 are not eligible and need not apply.

UNILAG Post-UTME Screening Exercise to Commence

Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Screening will not be considered for admission.

Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status could re-apply on condition that the new admission shall be for a new programme/course different from the former programme/course.  Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.

SCREENING FEE – N2,000

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Eligible candidates should log on to University of Lagos website www.unilag.edu.ng and take the following steps:

  • Click on Admissions.
  • Click on Post-UTME Application.
  • Login with UTME number as username and surname in lowercase as password.
  • Generate and print payment advice
  • Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online.
  • Return to the University portal to complete the screening form.
  • Print Post-UTME Examination Pass



POST-UTME TEST

Post-UTME aptitude test will hold from Monday, 1st to Friday, 5th November, 2021.

Monday, March 29, 2021 – Wednesday, April 7, 2021

  • 300 Level (Physical Examination)

Thursday, April 8 – Friday, April 16, 2021 Movement into halls of residence: Wednesday, April 7, 2021 Movement out of halls of residence: Saturday, April 17, 2021

  • 400 & 500 Level (Physical Examination)
