JAMB Unveils New Requirements for Foreign Students in 2023. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled new requirements for the admission of foreign students to Nigerian universities in 2023. The new requirements supersede the earlier requirements released by the board in November 2019.

  • An auto-generated indemnity form printed and submitted to the institution for the head’s signature.
  • A birth certificate or baptismal certificate.
  • O’level results or its equivalents.
  • A local government identification letter.
  • Six (6) passport photographs.

In addition to these requirements, foreign students may also need to provide additional documentation, such as proof of financial support or a letter of recommendation from a Nigerian embassy or consulate.

  3. Pay the PAU form fee of five thousand Naira (₦5,000.00) or its equivalent in any currency.
  4. Send PDF copies of the relevant documents to academicprogrammes@pau.edu.ng. These documents include:
  • OND/HND/NCE/Degree certificate
  • ‘A’ Level/Diploma result
  • Print out of the completed JAMB Direct Entry form
  • WAEC/GCE/SSCE/IGCSE/NECO results

Fee Payment Structure
Students who have been admitted via Direct Entry are to pay the same amount as their classmates

  • An acceptance fee of ₦250,000 is to be paid on admission. This non-refundable sum will form part of the first semester’s fees. This is applicable to first-year students and students who have just been admitted via Direct Entry
  • The tuition fee is payable in two equal installments before the beginning of each semester.
