JAMB: Cut-Off Marks Not Release for Admission Yet

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB has debunked the fake news circulating on internet regarding the release of cut-off marks for admission. The Board urges all higher institutions and candidates to disregard them as it is a trap by fraudsters to deceive and extort admission seekers.

Also, JAMB has enabled its Central Admission Processing System, CAPS Mobile App to be easy for all candidates to access admission information and other related issues on their mobile app without living home for cyber cafe or CBT centres to check admission status. So STAY SAFE

See the statement below:

“Kindly disregard any cut off marks paraded by fraudsters. It is fake news. Cut off marks are decided at a policy meeting chaired by the Minister of Education with all heads of tertiary institutions, CEOs of regulatory agencies in education and all other critical stakeholders in attendance.

“This meeting has been fixed for June 15 and 16, 2020, all things being equal.  Until this meeting is held, no body can talk about cut off mark. Nigerians are advised to disregard any such marks being paraded.”

“All they need do is to download the JAMB’s CAPS onto their phones.
