Since JAMB has abolished general cut-off mark for institutions, this gave birth to List of Universities with Release Cut-Off Marks from the recent UTME 2021.
Nigeria universities can now set their cut-off marks for UTME results, according to the JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, some institution has published their cut-off mark such as follow:
List of Universities with Release Cut-Off Marks
- Bayero University Kano-180
- University of Maiduguri – 150
- Usman Dan Fodio University – 140
- University of Sokoto – 140
- Pan Atlantic University – 210
- University of Lagos – 200
- Lagos State University – 190
- Covenant University – 190
- University of Ilorin – 180
The minimum Institutional cut-off marks for Bayero University, Kano remains 180, however, the cut-off marks for some programmes vary as follows;
- Faculty of Allied Health Sciences – 200
- Faculty of Clinical Sciences (MBBS) – 250
- Faculty of Dentistry – 200
- Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences – 220
- Faculty of Law – 220
Similarly, as was the case last year, the cut-off marks for Blind candidates (ONLY) who applied to be admitted into the University is 160.
Therefore, candidates that sat for UTME 2021 should visit the institutions portal above to check their cut-off mark and to know whether they meet the admission requirement, and also to prepare for POST-UTME exams
