COVID-19: WAEC Postpones 2020 Examinations indefinitely.

The West African Examinations Council WAEC has announced the postponement of 2020 examinations indefinitely due to the pandemic corona virus disease.

According to council, “the earlier released timetable for the conduct of the examination is hereby suspended until further notice.

The WAEC council said a new date for the examination will be announced to schools and other stakeholders as soon as possible.

Requirements for Collection of WAEC Certificates -Private Candidates.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) stated in their website the requirement for the collection of WAEC Certificate for private candidates.

The requirements are:

  1. One Passport
  2. Photo Card
  3. Computer Printout Result
  4. Payment of N3,550 to WAEC.

Certificates that have stay more than for 4 years in WAEC custody will attract additional charges- Custody Fee would be applied.
