Afe Babalola University Important Information for parents, guardian and student on the resumption into 2020/2021 academic session. The information are highlighted below.


  1. ALL STUDENTS SHALL BE SCREENED AT THE UNIVERSITY MAIN GATE.
  2. THE SCREENING EXERCISE STARTS FROM 8AM- 6PM DAILY .
  3. STUDENTS SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE UNIVERSITY AFTER 6PM.
  4. STUDENTS SHALL NOT BE ATTENDED TO OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED DAYS FOR THEIR DEPARTMENT AND LEVELS.
  5. PARENTS WITH MORE THAN ONE WARD CAN COME AT ANY OF THE DESIGNATED DAYS ASSIGNED FOR THE STUDENT.
  6. NO STUDENT SHALL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE UNIVERSITY WITHOUT EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT.
  7. ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BEFORE RESUMPTION.
  8. STUDENTS SHALL ONLY BE ALLOWED TO CARRY A MAXIMUM OF TWO BOXES/LUGGAGES INTO THE UNIVERSITY.
  9. STUDENTS MUST BRING ALONG THEIR RECEIPT OF PAYMENTS OF THEIR PERSONAL SMART DEVICES (laptops, tablets, mobile phones e.tc.)
  10. ANY STUDENT CAUGHT WITH CONTRABAND OR POSITIVE FOR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES SHALL PAY A FINE OF TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND NAIRA (N250,000.00) ONLY. THE REHABILITATION EXPENSES SHALL ALSO BE BORNE BY THE STUDENT.
  11. STUDENTS WHO ARE FOUND POSITIVE FOR EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 SHALL REQUIRE A CONFIRMATORY PCR TEST. PCR TEST SHALL BE CARRIED OUT AT THE STUDENTS’ EXPENSE.

Benue State University Post-UTME/DE 2020/2021 Screening Exercise

Benue State University Post-UTME/DE 2020/2021 Screening Exercise has commenced according to the university website and procedures on how to apply stated below.

This is to inform all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates who applied for admission into Benue State University, Makurdi, for the 2020/2021 Academic Session that, candidates who scored 180 points and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Post UTME exercise of the University.

Candidates are to pay a non-refundable Post-UTME registration fee of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only and register for the admission screening exercise.

B.  How to Apply
1. Visit the BSU website www.bsum.edu.ng and click on the Admissions menu.

2. Under Application, click Post UTME/DE link and enter Registration number to verify profile details.

3. Once the details are verified, candidates are to click on the “proceed” link to generate and print out the payment reference slip.

Payment options
Candidates are to use any of the four (4) payment options below to make payment.

(I) Cash payments at Bank;
Take along the Payment Reference Number and visit any of the following Bank Branches nation-wide to make payment.

Access Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc, First City Monument Bank Limited, Citibank Nigeria Limited, Heritage Banking Company Limited, Keystone Bank Limited, Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Standard Chartered, Wema Bank Plc, Providus Bank Limited, Zenith Bank Plc, ECO Bank Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Sterling Bank Plc, Diamond Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, Unity Bank Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Polaris Bank Plc.

Benue State University Post-UTME/DE 2020/2021

At the bank, candidates are to present the Payment Reference Number with the cash to the Bank Cashier to use “College Pay” App to process the transaction and generate Payment Receipt.

(II) Pay On-line using Mastercard, VISA and Verve Cards; _
On the Payment Reference Number slip that was generated after verification, candidates are to click on the “Pay Online” button to navigate to the Interswitch Payment Page.
• From the drop down below the page, select card type
• Enter the requested information to make Payment.
• Once payment is completed successfully, a receipt will be issued and candidates will be expected to continue with the application.

(III) Payment at ATM terminals 
Candidates are to visit any ATM terminal with their ATM card and do the following:
• Select Quickteller from the ATM menu
• Select pay bills
• Fill in the Payment reference Number generated and printed out when prompted to enter the Customer ID
• Fill in 04255101 when requested to enter the Payment Code
• Enter your GSM Number and complete the transaction.
• Return to the portal to login and print out the Payment Receipt

(IV) For payment using Quickteller
Candidates are to visit the Quickteller section on the Payment Reference page generated after verification and click the link “Pay on www.quickteller.com” to do the following;
• Enter Payment Reference Number
• Enter Card Details and click on Pay
• Print Receipt

NOTE:
a. Candidates who have not used Quickteller before would need to sign up first before handling the above transactions.
b. Candidates who have applied for courses (outside College of Health Sciences) may wish to directly open website www.quickteller.com/bsum and pay as above. While those who have applied for courses in the College of Health Sciences can also visit www.quickteller.com/chsbsu) to pay.

C.  Registration
After payment, candidates are expected to revisit the University website www.bsum.edu.ng and under Admission, select “Post UTME/DE” under Applications to do the following.
• Enter your UTME Registration number and click “Verify” button to verify your details.
• Click on the “proceed” link to login to your account to register and upload relevant credentials online for the Screening.
• Click on “My Bio Data” link to complete your Biodata.
• Click on “Upload Documents” link to upload the following documents: WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificates or statement of results (not online slips), Marriage certificate/affidavits, Certificate of State Origin. Click on “Acknowledgement Slip” link to print two (2) copies. Only candidates whose O’level results are on the JAMB portal will be given admission.

Note All candidates who applied for Law but scored between 180 and 199 may be considered for admission into any other courses in the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences, Education or Management Sciences. Also candidates who applied for Medicine and Surgery in the College of Health Sciences but scored between 180 and 199 may be considered for any of these courses, namely; Anatomy, Nursing Science and Physiology or any course in the Faculty of Science.

Adekunle Ajasin University AAUA Post-UTME/DE 2020/2021 Screening Exercise has commenced according to the university website. procedure on how to apply for the post UTME/ Direct Entry screening exercise is explained below.

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for admission to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, for the 2020/2021 academic session that registration for Post UTME Admission Screening Exercise will commence from Monday, 17TH August, 2020.

Candidates eligible for the Screening exercise are:

  • Those who made Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) their institution of first choice in the 2020/2021 UTME and scored 180 and above;
  • Direct Entry candidates who chose AAUA as their institution of first choice; and
  • Those who sat for the 2020/2021 UTME, scored 180 & above and are willing to change and make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko their institution of first choice.

NOTE: Candidates who did not make Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, their institution of first choice initially, but are willing to choose AAUA, should make the necessary change of Institution on JAMB CAPS to AAUA before the close of registration for the screening exercise.

All eligible candidates are to visit the University website https://putme.aaua.edu.ng, to register for the screening as from Monday, 17th August, 2020 after making a payment of N2, 000.00 (two thousand naira) only. (Payment should be made online on the University Screening Portal)

Guidelines to Candidates for On-line Registration

  1. Visit www.putme.aaua.edu.ng
  2. Create an account with valid JAMB registration number and E-mail address
  3. Confirm your E-Mail address by clicking on the link sent to your E-mail (check spam box, if not found in your E-mail inbox).
  4. Log in and make payment  of N2, 000.00 only via PayTech (MasterCard only).
  5. After successful payment, candidates are to fill their Bio-data with valid details.
  6. Print out Bio-data slip

General Instructions to all Candidates

  1. Candidates are advised to correctly upload their O’Level results on the portal. A maximum of two (2) sittings is allowed in the case of O’Level requirements.
  2. AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO, NABTEB O’Level results.
  3. AAUA accepts ND(Upper Credit), HND(Lower Credit), NCE and JUPEB(6 Points) for Direct Entry candidates
  4. Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply but must upload their results as soon as it is released on both the University portal and JAMB CAPS for seamless admission processing.
  5. Candidates are to click on Admission requirements to check for O’Level and UTME requirements for their course of choice.
  6. Candidates who did not comply with the UTME subject combination are requested to change to their desirable course on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission.
  7. Candidates are advised to read the O’Level requirements of their courses and select the right FIVE subject combinations for their courses, which must include credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all courses in AAUA.
  8. Candidates should ensure that the on-line form is carefully completed, following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may be seen as misrepresentation/falsification of documents, which shall lead to disqualification.
  9. Candidates are then to print-out evidence of completion of transaction and keep for future reference.
  10. It is compulsory for all candidates to participate in the online screening exercise to further qualify them for admission by the University.

SPECIAL NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANT

  • The registration for the online screening exercise commences on Monday, 17th August, 2020. Candidates are advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers (without DND ‘’DO NOT DISTURB’’). The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers.
  • Candidates who applied to study Mass Communication in AAUA during UTME are advised to change to other relevant courses/programme compatible with their JAMB and O’ Level subjects as AAUA will not be offering Mass Communication during the 2020/2021 Academic session.

This is to inform all suitably qualified UTME candidates who has obtained five “O-Level including Mathematics and English Language and scored 160 and above in the recent UTME/DE 2020 who choose Adamawa State University, Mubi as their first choice, that the screening exercise for the 2020/2021 academic session admission has commenced.

Eligibilty

Applicants should log on to the university website, click www.adsu.edu.ng click on the Post UTME and fill in the necessary information.

However, candidates who did not choose Adamawa State University as their first choice but now willing should logon onto JAMB website and effect the change of their first choice of institution to Adamawa State University.

Federal University of Technology Owerri FUTO Post-UTME/DE 2020/2021 Screening Exercise has begun according to FUTO website.

FUTO Post-UTME/DE 2020/2021 Screening Exercise

Candidates who chose Federal University of Technology, Owerri as First Choice University in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) are hereby invited for Screening Exercise. The following conditions apply:

  • UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in their UTME;
  • Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree and A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.

Those who did not choose FUTO as first choice University but scored a minimum of 180 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.

Application commences on Tuesday, August 04, 2020 and has extended until further notice.

a. Mode of Payment and Registration Procedure

Eligible candidates would be required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).

To register, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Visit the University website: www.futo.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Prospective students”
  3. Click on the link; “2020/2021 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.
  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
  5. Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
  6. Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
  7. Proceed with the completion of the form.
  8. Correctly enter your O’Level results (where available).
  9. Confirm your entries.
  10. Submit your application.
  11. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
  12. Await further communication from the University

Candidates who successfully complete the above-stated registration process will be allowed access to a link through which they can upload their O’Level credentials (where available) for screening.

b. Nature of the Screening Exercise

The 2020/2021 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise shall be conducted in a manner devoid of exposure of candidates to the dreaded Covid-19.

NOTE:

1.    You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communications.

2.    You must upload your O’Level results on JAMB PORTAL. 

3.    Those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified for the Exercise.

4.    Any candidate who fails to successfully submit his application online would automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: In addition to 1-4 above;

5.    Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

6.    Any candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript would not be considered for Admission.

UNILAG Registration for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2020/2021 has commenced according to their website.

Online registration for the University of Lagos Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all undergraduate courses/programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic Year will commence from Monday, 19th October to Friday, 30th October, 2020.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

UNILAG Registration for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2020/2021

Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2020/2021 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening.

In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O-Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October 2020 are not eligible and need not apply.

Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status could re-apply on the condition that the new admission shall be for a new course/ programme different from the former course/programme.

Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.

SCREENING FEE : N2,000

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Eligible candidates should log on to the University of Lagos website www.unilag.edu.ng and take the following steps:

  • Click on Admissions.
  • Click on Post-UTME Application.
  • Login with UTME number as Username and Surname ( in lowercase) as Password.
  • Generate and print Payment Advice
  • Proceed to any commercial bank to make the payment or pay online.
  • Return to the University portal to complete the screening form.
  • Print Post-UTME Examination Pass.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

(i)        Only UTME and DE candidates who selected FUT, Minna as first choice are eligible for the screening exercise.

(iii)      Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure.

(iv)      However, candidates who do not meet any of the above requirements will be allowed to change to any other course whose requirements are met by the candidates.  The change of course will attract a processing fee of N1,000 only.

(v)       All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English Language in subjects relevant to their proposed courses at not more than two sittings.  In addition, Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma level(s) or Merit at NCE level.

(vi)      Only ‘O’ Level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website(s) of the National Examining Bodies (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of the original certificate(s) should be uploaded for verification. 

CANDIDATES ARE TO ENSURE THAT ‘O’ LEVEL RESULTS UPLOADED ON THE UNIVERSITY WEBSITE ARE THE SAME WITH THE RESULTS UPLOADED ON JAMB WEBSITE.

On the page that appears, click on UPASE- DE/UTME Login

  1. Enter your JAMB registration number.
  2. Enter one of your names.
  • iii. Click on ‘Login’.
  1. Upload your ‘O’ level result(s).
  2. DE candidates should also upload their Higher level result(s).
  3. Choose any other course from the list of Departments if your UTME/’O’ level subject combinations do not meet the minimum requirements for the course registered with JAMB.
  • vii. Click on ‘Proceed to payment gateway’.
  • Confirm your entries.
  1. Click on ‘payment link’ button to proceed to payment gateway.
  2. Payment is done through Debit Card (MasterCard – Most preferred) or Verve (only the ones enabled for online payment) or Bank branch (by generating RRR from application portal).
  3. Enter ATM Debit card details (Card number, expiry date, CVV 2 i.e the 3 digits behind your card, and pin number)

If payment is successful, the screen will display all the data you previously entered.

  • xii. Click on the ‘Print’ button to print the document
