Master’s Programs:

Requirements for admission into professional Masters’ programmes are as follows:

  • (a) Five (5) O-level credits including English and Mathematics.
  • (b) Candidates with at least 2nd Class honours Lower Division Bachelor’s degree from any approved University.
  • (c) Candidates with Professional Diploma Certificate of the Nigerian College of Accountancy or a PGD from ANUK or any approved University at credit level pass (i.e. 3.5)
  • Duration
  • i. A full time Master’s Programme shall run for a minimum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters.
  • ii. For extension beyond the specified maximum period, special permission of the Board of College of Postgraduate Studies shall be required.

Ph.D. Programs

Admission Requirements for Doctoral Programmes in Accounting are:

  • (a) Five (5) O-level credits including English and Mathematics.
  • (b) Candidates with at least 2nd Class honours Lower Division Bachelor’s degree from any approved University.
  • (c) Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Accounting Masters of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Accounting with a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 point scale from ANUK or any approved University.
  • (d) Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Allied fields with professional Accountancy qualification and a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 point scale from any approved University.
  • (e) Possess adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.
Duration

i. A full-time Doctoral programme shall run for a minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semesters.

ii. Postgraduate Studies shall be required.

PGD Programs

Requirements for admission into Postgraduate Diploma programme are as follows:

  • (a) Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at the Ordinary Level (‘O’ level).
  • (b) Relevant Bachelor’s Degrees not lower than third Class Division from recognized Universities.
  • (c) Bachelor’s Degrees with at least second class lower Division in areas not related to Administration may be considered.
  • (d) Higher National Diploma at credit level.
  • (e) Relevant professional qualifications.
Duration

Full-time Diploma: Minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters.

M.Sc. Accounting Programmes

Requirements for admission into professional Masters’ programmes are as follows:

  • (a) Five (5) O-level credits including English and Mathematics.
  • (b) Candidates with at least 2nd Class honours Lower Division Bachelor’s degree from any approved University.

ANAN Admission into Nigerian College of Accountancy NCA for 2023/2024

The Association of Nigeria Accountant of Nigeria ANAN Admission into Nigerian College of Accountancy NCA for 2023/2024 Academic Session.

he Nigerian College of Accountancy (NCA) is now accepting applications for admission into the 2023/2024 academic session. The college offers a variety of programmes, including a full-time programme, a conversion programme, and a mature programme.

NCA Admission Requirements

The admission requirements for the NCA vary depending on the programme you are applying for. However, the general requirements include:

  • A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from any recognized Nigerian University, or any approved Overseas University; or
  • A Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HND) of any approved Nigerian Polytechnic.

In addition to the above requirements, you may also be required to provide the following:

  • Transcript of academic records
  • Evidence of NYSC discharge certificate
  • Statement of purpose
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Birth certificate

Application forms can be obtained online or physically. The online application form is available on the NCA website. To apply physically, you can visit the NCA office in Jos, Plateau State.

The application fee is N20,000 for the online application and N20,000 for the physical application.

ANAN Admission into Nigeria College of Accountancy NCA for 2022/2023

The Association of Nigeria Accountant of Nigeria ANAN Admission into Nigeria College of Accountancy NCA for 2022/2023 Academic Session. Admission to commence from September, 2022. Requirements and Procedures and for admission are stated below.

Admission Requirement for Nigeria College of Accountancy NCA for 2022/2023
  • Bachelor of Science B.Sc degree in Accounting from any NUC accredited Nigeria University or any approved overseas university.
  • Higher National Diploma HND Accountancy from any NBTE accredited Nigerian Polytechnic any approved overseas polytechnic.
  • Also, any applicant who is a graduate of an oversea University or Polytechnics is required to provide transcript of his/her academic records properly issued and signed by the registrar of the issuing institution.
  • B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Banking & Finance and Allied courses shall be admitted into conversion programs
