The National Universities Commission NUC Approves New Courses for Augustine University, Ilara, Epe, Lagos.
According to the institute Communications Officer, Nicolas Obayi, the approval was contained in a letter sent by the Executive Secretary of the Commission to the Vice-Chancellor of Augustine University.
The new courses are:
“This approval was granted following a verification exercise carried out by the commission to ascertain the readiness of AUI in commencing these programmes. The approval confirms the readiness of the Augustine University to deliver world class higher education services to youths within and outside Nigeria with the State-of-the-Art facilities readily available to aid qualitative learning,” Obayi said.

The Obafemi Awolowo University OAU Announces New Dates and Centres for Post-UTME 2020/2021 screening exercise.
The institute Public Relations Officer, Mr Abiodun Olarenwaju stated “OAU fixes new Post-UTME dates” in a press statement today.
“All candidates are hereby informed that new dates, which starts from Saturday, 27th February 2021, will be conducted in two centers: Ile-Ife and Abuja.”
“The Post UTME Screening Exercise, which will be conducted in Ile-Ife centre, between Saturday, 27th February and Wednesday, 3rd March, 2021 will be on OAU campus and its Centre for Distance Learning, in Moro, while the Abuja Centre will hold on Saturday, 6th March, 2021 at the JAMB CBT Centre, Bwari, Abuja.”
“In view of this, candidates are advised to log in to the https://admissions. oauife.edu.ng to print out their Screening Slips which contain actual dates and venues for each of them, beginning from Sunday, 14th February, 2021.
“The University Management also enjoins all candidates to adhere strictly to their respective schedules and comply fully with all COVID-19 protocols as recommended by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control.”

These are Guidelines on How to Become FCTI 2021.
The Chartered Institute Taxation of Nigeria CITN has published guidelines on how to become Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria FCTI for this year 2021, see guidelines below.
a. The applicant must be a member of the Institute for a minimum period of 5 years;
b. The applicant must be a financial member of the Institute; Applicants for Fellowship upgrade must attend, at least, 3 MPTP or Seminars either in the preceding or current year.
This condition is expected to be met by applicants. Council’s approval for Fellowship upgrade and Practicing License application is subject to the fulfilment of the above stated criteria.
c. The application for Fellowship upgrade is online
d. Visit https://www.citn.org and login with your details
e. Click on “my membership”
f. Click on “apply for fellowship”, fill and submit the application form to generate a payment reference code;
g. Download the attached district form;
h. The District form must be duly filled and signed by the respective district Chairman;
i. The completed District form must be scanned and uploaded to your profile following these steps:
– Login to your profile;
– Click on my profile;
– Click on edit profile;
– Click on ‘other files’ and upload;
j. Payment of N100, 000.00 for application fee and transfer to fellowship conferment ceremony;
k. Payment can be made online or direct payment to CITN UBA Account No. 1005809652 and send payment details to the contacts below.

Candidates offered admission for National Diploma Full-Time are to pay an ACCEPTANCE fee of N33,700.00
All the candidates offered Admissions should go to JAMB Website to do the following:
GUIDELINES FOR PAYMENTS AND REGISTRATION
All Admitted Candidates are to visit the Polytechnic website www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng and click on the College portal;
✓ Click on check admission status by using your application No. and RRR no. used to obtain the form or screening results.
✓ Click on Generate invoice /make payment of Acceptance Fee.
✓ Print the Invoice generated and proceed to any of the designated bank for Payment.
✓ After the payment of the acceptance fee, candidates should go back to the Portal and input the RRR number to print the School Admission Letter and Acceptance Fee Receipt.
✓ Proceed to the College Portal to generate School Fees Invoice and proceed to any of the designated bank for Payment.
✓ Input the RRR number obtained for the payment of school fees to print the School Fees Receipt.
✓ Complete the bio-data and fill the Course Registration Forms.
✓ Matriculation number is assigned after payment of school fee.
✓ Fill in other credentials and other information e.g Certificate of Local Government / State of Origin, Birth Certificate etc.
✓ Fill in the appropriate courses for the session.
✓ Print hard copy of the course registration form filled online and submit Four (4) copies alongside other.
Relevant documents (SSCE, Certificate of Local Government Origin, Birth Certificate for ND students) while the HND students add Certificate of completion of One Year Industrial Attachment and ND Notification of Result.

The CITN examinations is scheduled to commence from Tuesday 13th of April, 2021 to Thursday 15th of April 2021.
“Please note that the New Banking Professional Syllabus will run concurrently with the Existing Syllabus for two consecutive diets (April and October 2021) giving opportunity to candidates with few subjects to complete the Programme. The New Syllabus would take full effect from April 2022”.
“The Timetable has been structured to enable candidates write a maximum of three (3) subjects of one hour each per Session (i.e Morning Session: 9:00am to 12noon and Afternoon Session: 2:00pm to 5:00pm) in the existing syllabus while the New Syllabus has maximum of two subjects of one and half hours each per Session”.
